Volkswagen 13AD Beetle 1303S (1973)
The VW Beetle, which was released in 1938, was manufactured until 2003 with repeated minor changes and was driven all over the world. In 1971, remaining the basic design that is equipped with air-cooled horizontally-opposed cylinder engine on the rear, the 1302 series was added whose front suspension was changed from conventional torsion bar to MacPherson strut system. Bulging bonnet shape was also its features. In 1973, it underwent minor changed and became the 1303 series whose windshield curved largely, and tail lights were also increased in size. the 1303 series was equipped with a 1300cc engine, the 1303S series was equipped with a 1600cc engine. The 1303 series was discontinued in 1975, and the torsion bar type was continuously produced after that, but the convertible was manufactured based on the 1303S until 1979.
