The GTO combined Pontiac’s muscular 389 cubic-inch V8 with its lightest car, the redesigned midsize ’64 Tempest LeMans. This easy-to-build 1:24 scale Revell 2’n1 kit features some of the car’s best-remembered factory features, including triple two-barrel “Tri-Power” carburetors, a four-speed manual transmission and dual exhaust. Construction instructions are included so that skilled builders can convert the two-door “post” coupé body into a hardtop. Optional street parts include a second hood that was cut out to accommodate the chrome blower with dual four-cylinder fans and intake.
