The Z33-generation Fairlady Z made its debut in 2002, two years after the end of production of its predecessor, the Z32. Its revival, carried out under the new leadership of Carlos Ghosn, created a major buzz at the time. The Z33 continued to evolve through major updates in 2005 and 2007, which brought changes to its exterior and engine.
