Savanna GT’s ’73 minor change model (late type) that appeared in September 1972.
The first Savannah debuted in 1971 equipped with a 10A high-performance rotary engine and a long-nose short-deck proportion Savanna with sedan and coupe-type bodies. The wide tread made good use of the steering stability making this a popular model.
The Savanna played an active part in motor sports and won the Fuji 500 Mile Tourist Trophy Race held in December ’71, preventing the Skyline GT-R from achieving 50 domestic wins in total.
