The GRB-generation Impreza WRX STI was introduced in October 2007, transforming from its previous four-door sedan design into WRX’s first dedicated five-door hatchback with a sporty look. This model features glamorous front and rear blister fenders, a rugged hood duct, and a large rear spoiler, giving it a distinct presence and an unmistakable atmosphere, clearly differentiating it from the standard Impreza.
