Background information
The Shelby Cobra 427 embodies the American dream of speed and innovation. When Carroll Shelby equipped the lightweight British AC Ace with a powerful American V8 engine, he created an automotive icon. With an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds, the Cobra 427 set new standards in the sports car world in 1965. The characteristic Gulf Oil paintwork in light blue-orange became the trademark of this legendary vehicle, which is now one of the most sought-after collector’s items in automotive history.
