The Mitsubishi Lancer GSR Evolution III goes well beyond the scope of just a sports sedan , now delivering the kind of performance that has given Mitsubishi a base vehicle with which they can go after the WRC title . Speeds have increased every year, and the cars aerodynamics have been redesigned to reflect this .
The front end bumper extension was increased in size to bring more air into the engine compartment and, together with an increased volume intercooler , cooling has been boosted significantly . What’s more the rear spoiler and wickers were enlarged and refined to lower rear-end lift and improve handling . The engine was also improved , with the turbocharger’s compressor wheel being redesigned to boost power even further at high rotation speeds.
