Tamiya LP lacquer paint for plastic model kits
Tamiya LP lacquer paints are quick-drying 10ml model paints with a durable finish. They can be airbrushed for larger panels or used with a brush for smaller details, making the range suitable for model cars, motorcycles, aircraft, armour and other plastic model kits.
Using Tamiya lacquer paint
- Select the LP colour listed in your instructions or use the chart below.
- Use a compatible lacquer thinner when thinning is required.
- Allow each coat to dry before masking or applying further colours.
Colours with the same name can vary slightly between Tamiya’s lacquer, acrylic and spray ranges. The chart is a guide and screen colours can also vary. Follow the label instructions and use suitable ventilation.
