Tamiya LP lacquer paints are quick-drying model paints supplied in 10ml jars. Developed for a smooth, durable finish, the LP series is suitable for model cars, motorbikes, aircraft, military vehicles and other plastic kits. Choose from a wide selection of gloss, flat, metallic, clear and specialist colours using the LP reference in your model instructions.

These lacquer-based paints can be airbrushed for larger panels or applied carefully with a brush for selected details. Use a compatible lacquer thinner when needed, work in a suitably ventilated area and allow each layer to dry before masking or applying additional colours. Colours with similar names are not necessarily identical across Tamiya’s LP, X/XF and TS paint systems.
