Welcome to Kent Models – your online plastic model kit superstore.
Kent Models is an established, family-run UK business with a history dating back to 1994.
For more than 30 years, our business has been built around providing quality products, competitive prices and dependable customer service.
Today, we specialise in supplying an extensive selection of plastic model kits, paints, tools and modelling accessories to customers throughout the UK and beyond.
Whether you’re an experienced model maker, a collector searching for something unusual, or someone discovering the hobby for the first time, we’re here to help you find your next project.
Specialists in Japanese Plastic Model Kits
One of the things that makes Kent Models different is our specialist knowledge of Japanese plastic model kits.
We’re particularly well known for our extensive range of Japanese model cars, motorcycles and other specialist models, including products that can be difficult to find through conventional UK retailers.
Kent Models is an official UK importer and distributor for Aoshima and Fujimi, two of Japan’s leading plastic model kit manufacturers.
Our direct relationships with these manufacturers help us offer customers an exciting selection of Japanese model kits, including classic Japanese cars, JDM performance vehicles, racing cars, motorcycles and unusual specialist subjects.
If you’re searching for a particular Japanese model kit, there’s a good chance we’ll have something of interest.

That’s why we also supply a comprehensive range of model-making equipment and accessories.
From paints, glues and modelling tools to airbrushes, compressors, sanding equipment, decals and detailing accessories, we aim to offer everything needed to build, customise and finish your models.
Our modelling supplies include products from leading manufacturers such as Mr Hobby, Tamiya, SMS and other specialist brands.
Whether you’re starting your first model or working on a highly detailed project, you’ll find a wide selection of products to help achieve the finish you’re looking for.
UK Stock, Fast Dispatch and Dependable Service
We believe customers should know what they’re ordering and when they can expect to receive it.
Unlike retailers that rely heavily on ordering products after customers have purchased them, Kent Models maintains a substantial range of physical stock here in the UK.
We regularly update our website as new products arrive and existing stock sells out.
Our aim is straightforward: provide a reliable online shopping experience, accurate product information, competitive prices and fast dispatch.
We’re also a real business with a customer service team that customers can contact if they need assistance.
Helping Beginners and Experienced Modellers
We understand that not everyone knows the difference between model scales, manufacturers or assembly types.
If you’re new to model making, we offer beginner-friendly kits, starter sets and useful modelling accessories.
If you’re buying a gift for someone else, our Model Kit Gift Guide can help you choose a suitable present based on their interests and experience.
And for experienced enthusiasts, our constantly changing range of specialist Japanese models, rare kits and detailing products offers plenty of opportunities to discover something different.
